Is it too late to only blog about my ROM (Registration of Marriage), one year after it happened? 😂

After RK proposed in July 2018, we didn’t start planning for our ROM and wedding until Jan 2019. We were putting off the planning because we initially wanted to wait for his sister to tie the knot first. But plan changed and we decided to get the work going come the new year.

One of the best advices I heeded for the wedding was to: enjoy the moment. And you can bet RK and I did. In fact, I’ve never seen him happier than the night of our wedding reception and that made me even happier.

The Making of Our Love Story Wedding Slideshow

I have a lot of favorites from our wedding and one of them is our Love Story slideshow. One of the bridesmaids stepped in and compiled this meaningful wedding slideshow for us last minute (within a week of the wedding). And it turned out so much better than what I envisioned.

What I Miss The Most About Our DIY Wedding Planning

So I have finally screened through our wedding photos and uploaded them to Facebook. Going through these photos surely brought back a lot of memories of that night, as well as the many nights (and late nights) to prepare for the best night of our love story (yet).

While these thoughts are flying in my mind, let’s pen them down before they fly away! So here are the few things I miss about our DIY wedding planning.

When I was scouting for our wedding guest activities, I knew I wanted to do jenga guestbook and kissing menu when I saw the ideas. But I struggled with the third activity and only half-heartedly settled for “couple bucket list” — just because I already bought a jar that I had to fill up.

Based on the stress-o-meter on RK’s face, I’d say that the pre-wedding shoot (PWS) was one of his most stressful moments in life. Simply because the two biggest pimples of his life popped right before the photo session. 😂
