Assembling Multifunctional Wardrobe from Lazada

How convenient it is for RK to get the keys to his new house right before the long Merdeka weekend! He has been packing and moving for a couple of days now but I’m only involved today. We moved some big items with the movers and some smaller items with his car.

The highlight of the day would be fixing up this Multifunctional Wardrobe (King Size) that he bought from Lazada. He bought this as a temporary storage solution before he’s ready to get the real deal when he wants to settle down. He has been eyeing on this budget wardrobe for a while and finally decided to just get it.

The product image from Lazada is slightly different from the one we have. Our center section is the same size as the side sections. Also, we don’t have that much space at the bottom of the wardrobe.

Broga Hill Hiking 2015

After our separate experiences at the much-dreaded Ah Pek Hill hiking, Alicia wanted to go for hiking at Broga Hill because we have been telling her Broga Hill hiking is so much easier than Ah Pek Hill but she has never been there.

So over the recent weekend, we decided to defy the long public holiday weekend mantra of sleeping in. RK and myself woke up at 4am so that we could meet Alicia and Victor early to leave Subang Jaya at 5am. The drive to the foot of Broga Hill took us less than an hour. We started hiking by 6am. Whoaaa.

My First Chinese Concert Experience: Stefanie Sun

Have you ever imagined what your first concert experience would be like? When I was young, I thought my first concert experience would be Tension’s but it didn’t happen so I always tell myself that my first Chinese concert ever better be worthy enough to fill in the gap left by Tension.

Years after years, I didn’t feel compelled to buy any Chinese concert ticket until I learned that Stefanie Sun was coming to town. I grew up listening to her music and her concert was definitely worthy to be my first Chinese concert experience. Continue reading My First Chinese Concert Experience: Stefanie Sun

Hiking at Ah Pek Hill 2015

If you’re a city dweller who doesn’t exercise and is considering hiking at Ah Pek Hill (or Bukit Putih), read on. I just Googled for blog posts relating to Ah Pek Hill hiking and the top results do not sound like my experience at all. I must be the most noob of the noob hikers-wannabe.

Spot my friends at the top! They're not faraway. Just trying to get down the steep slope at Ah Pek Hill.

Getting Warm Oil Back Massage at Amante Nail Spa & Body Care

I received two complimentary spa experience vouchers for Amante Nail Spa & Body Care from Matta. Three options were given: (1) foot massage for two; (2) warm oil back massage; and (3) bust massage treatment.

Business must be good at Amante because I had to call in to 3 outlets to finally get the service and the time slot that would work. I ended up going for warm oil back massage at their Puchong outlet with RK after work just now.

Day Trip to Ipoh

Mei Er came home from the United States with her American boyfriend (Dan) so we decided to go for a roadtrip to explore local food and places of attraction as a cultural exposure and experience for him. And we have chosen: Ipoh!

I volunteered to plan the trip only to plan it at midnight before our trip. Hehe. #lastminute. But I thought it turned out great even though I only took an hour to plan half asleep. And so I shall share the plan too to benefit people who have been asking about the places that shared on my Instagram and Facebook!

Time to File Income Tax, Malaysians

Last week, my mom asked me if I have filed my income tax because apparently, the deadline is 31 March 2015. I realized it’s the time of the year to file income tax but I was caught by surprise when I was notified the deadline is “near” because there hasn’t been much buzz like last year. *Alarmed but suspicious.*

Anyway, I went ahead and rushed my previous company to provide me with my EA form. And they quickly sent it to me right before I read this article: Your Definitive Guide To Cutting Your Income Tax 2015 by iMoney.my.
