Cheap and Pretty DIY Temporary Tattoo

I didn’t think I would blog about the temporary tattoo that I got 2 days ago, until I got 2 inquiries within 1 hour on where to get a temporary tattoo (in my case, a sticker tattoo). I typically don’t get people asking where I buy my stuff so this deserves a blog post.

My sister came back from Jonker Street, Malacca with a new tattoo on her wrist. We’re not the type to get real tattoo so it was definitely a temporary tattoo. I thought it was an airbrush tattoo from her company event. Surprised to find out it’s a DIY sticker tattoo that she stuck on herself. She was wanting to get a permanent tattoo for a while which I out found while she was reading about a tattoo pain numbing cream which you can click here to read yourself, but as our skin is too sensitive: thus there was no scope for either one of us to get it done. Augmented Reality Robot Book Present for Birthday Boy

I don’t remember if I ever bought any present for a birthday boy aged 9 in my adulthood. RK and I first went into Toys R Us but found it hard to pick anything. Since the birthday boy likes books, we went into Popular next and stumbled upon this awesome gift choice for boys: iRobot by Carlton Books. Wagyu Steak at Tamaruya, Isetan The Japan Store

RK has expensive taste buds and loves to splurge. He loves steaks and doesn’t mind paying for good food. I am the total opposite. I am the most comfortable in mamak settings and crave for all the cheap eats. We’re excited to say that we may have found a place that makes both of us happy! My Personal Expense in 2015

Do you know where your money go? I kinda know where my money go because when I graduated college, I was like “Oh no. No more allowance. Will I have enough every month?” I remember during that period, personal financial management was a hot topic among my peers as we embarked on this new journey. We started off with how to do budgeting and in order to stay within budget, a few of us frantically recorded our expenses every day.

So I did that with the help of a mobile app (I use Expense Manager by Bishinews) every single day for quite some time. I get lazy from time to time and probably miss out more transactions as days pass but at least I have some clue of where my money go; and touch wood, I haven’t need to borrow money from anyone yet to make ends meet even during this Big-C treatment journey. What Religion Means to Me

I caught up with a friend who came back for holiday from her medical school in UK. Since my cancer diagnosis, she has been very supportive as a high school friend who is now very equipped with medical knowledge to help me in times of needs.

She told me about her medical incidences when she was alone in UK and how her new religion helped her to miraculously heal her in two instances. This made me think about religion and what it means to me. Continue reading What Religion Means to Me

Interesting School Rules of MGS Klang 2008

Read this article about 22 most ridiculous rules people’s school had and I thought my school had rules that were pretty interesting too. The rules often become topic of ridicule during high school reunions now because I (as a pretty stern school prefect) always enforced them to my fellow schoolmates who hated me to bits for telling them…

Busted Tyre Along PLUS Highway At Night Alone

On the way back to office to grab my car after movie with colleagues, one of them asked me if I’ve been robbed or got my car window smashed before because it’s so common apparently. You can bet that after being asked like that, I’d be more paranoid than usual. Perhaps that’s why I refused to get down the car when I noticed something was wrong with my car as I was driving home past 11pm yesterday.

I busted my tyre flat on the highway at night, alone.

My Uber Malaysia Experience in Klang Valley

Growing up, I rarely took taxi. Most of my taxi rides were taken out of the country when private transportation is not available and mass transit is a little complicated to pick up. Little did I expect that my job will require me to take taxi, or in today’s discussion, Uber in Malaysia.

So far, the most stressful moment of my workplace happened at the parking lot when my colleague was trying to maneuver her car after lunch; the parking lot was so crowded with so many cars double parking wherever possible. No kidding. Most stressful moment so far..

Assembling Multifunctional Wardrobe from Lazada

How convenient it is for RK to get the keys to his new house right before the long Merdeka weekend! He has been packing and moving for a couple of days now but I’m only involved today. We moved some big items with the movers and some smaller items with his car.

The highlight of the day would be fixing up this Multifunctional Wardrobe (King Size) that he bought from Lazada. He bought this as a temporary storage solution before he’s ready to get the real deal when he wants to settle down. He has been eyeing on this budget wardrobe for a while and finally decided to just get it.

Multifunctional King Size Wardrobe (Grey) from Lazada
The product image from Lazada is slightly different from the one we have. Our center section is the same size as the side sections. Also, we don’t have that much space at the bottom of the wardrobe.
