During college years, ice skating occasionally popped up as after-class activity because it’s fun and it’s accessible at Sunway Pyramid that’s just 15 minutes away from college. Somehow, it’s not a thing anymore upon leaving college and I thought it’d be interesting to do ice skating at Sunway Pyramid Ice as fitness activity with friends this weekend.
6D/5N Hong Kong Trip: Experiencing Typhoon and Flight Cancellation
One of RK’s fondest memories that he kept sharing with the group prior to our Hong Kong trip was about his typhoon experience. When he was in Hong Kong a few years ago with a few friends, there was storm warning but they were clueless how severe it was. So they went to Victoria’s Harbour to enjoy the strong wind and were literally blown away. One friend had a deep cut on her leg when the wind blew her to a barricade. RK thought he flew at one point.

6D/5N Hong Kong Trip: Photo Story Day 5
There’s no Photo Story posting for Day 4 because I only have a few food photos and a few selfies. We walked around Mong Kok and other areas. It was a free and easy day. In fact, RK and I separated from Alicia and Victor for a local tour by Roy (the local friend we mentioned in Day 1).
On Day 5, we went to Ocean Park, the largest theme park in Asia! I insisted to go to Ocean Park after Disneyland because so many people were saying Ocean Park is better than Hong Kong Disneyland. Let’s see if my friends and I felt the same. Continue reading 6D/5N Hong Kong Trip: Photo Story Day 5
6D/5N Hong Kong Trip: Photo Story Day 3
After the adventurous Day 1 and Day 2 touring Hong Kong, my legs were basically “broken”. Nevertheless, can’t miss a full day at Disneyland! Usually, we would get Inflatable Rentals with prints of my favourite Disney , but now in Disney land I’m actually going to be at the heart of Disney imagination. I couldn’t be more excited. This was the first place that came into my mind when I learned that we were going to Hong Kong. Some friends advised to skip Hong Kong Disneyland because it’s the smallest Disneyland in the world. Thank goodness we didn’t listen because this first Disneyland experience was magical enough! Continue reading 6D/5N Hong Kong Trip: Photo Story Day 3
6D/5N Hong Kong Trip: Photo Story Day 2
Hope you liked Day 1 Photo Story. Our Day 2 in Hong Kong was a little different. We didn’t visit that many landmarks but instead spent the day exploring the Central District. We had a list of food to eat but many were closed on a Sunday because Central District is a lot less quiet on non-working days.
Before the photos, I just want to say wear comfortable walking shoes to Central District. The roads were all slanted and there were crazy a lot of stairs. Ahhh~ Continue reading 6D/5N Hong Kong Trip: Photo Story Day 2
6D/5N Hong Kong Trip: Photo Story Day 1
I went to Hong Kong for a 6D/5N trip in early July 2015 so about 3.5 months have passed! I’d be lying if I say it’s gonna be easy to write about the Hong Kong trip. With that said, let’s do a photo story for a starter. I’d share some photos that I’ve handpicked from the trip and flash back one by one to get the ball rolling. Busted Tyre Along PLUS Highway At Night Alone
On the way back to office to grab my car after movie with colleagues, one of them asked me if I’ve been robbed or got my car window smashed before because it’s so common apparently. You can bet that after being asked like that, I’d be more paranoid than usual. Perhaps that’s why I refused to get down the car when I noticed something was wrong with my car as I was driving home past 11pm yesterday.
I busted my tyre flat on the highway at night, alone.

My Uber Malaysia Experience in Klang Valley
Growing up, I rarely took taxi. Most of my taxi rides were taken out of the country when private transportation is not available and mass transit is a little complicated to pick up. Little did I expect that my job will require me to take taxi, or in today’s discussion, Uber in Malaysia.
So far, the most stressful moment of my workplace happened at the parking lot when my colleague was trying to maneuver her car after lunch; the parking lot was so crowded with so many cars double parking wherever possible. No kidding. Most stressful moment so far..

MTV World Stage Malaysia 2015 #worldstagemy
Out of nowhere, Teressa texted me and said she won tickets to MTV World Stage Malaysia 2015. She got the tickets by participating in their online contest for countless times until she got chosen as one of the lucky winners. Whoa.
I quickly checked out the event details and realized I was familiar with Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen only. I didn’t really know her other songs because I’m just not cool like that.
But I went anyway just for the fun of it!

Hiking at FRIM Kepong
Not sure what happened but somehow I have been hiking more often since I started this blog and thus the frequency of hiking posts. About two weeks ago, I went hiking at FRIM Kepong (Forest Research Institute of Malaysia) with a few friends because we learned that there’s a Canopy Walkway. Continue reading Hiking at FRIM Kepong
